I didn't see "Use Camera2 API" neither. I guess it the phone does not support it, the option doesn't show up.

BTW Simple Camera disables shutter sound for both, photo and video, but also not separately.

not all phones support this You mean, that not all Phones support "Use Camera2 API"? I guess mine does not, as I can't find that option. This works for photos but not for video. Maybe turning of is not supported for this phone?
