How about you just read all comments? There is no fix. Just use Freeplane and import your maps or use the scale factor given. what's wrong with FreePlane? It is almost the same as FreeMind, has the import feature and my transition has been a very smooth one.
Hej James, as written somewhere further up ... just use this other product. it is 100% compatible as far as I can tell. All my maps have been imported correctly.
just out of curiosity: what made you decide against this Freeplane?
you're most welcome. I have been unaware of this app as well btw. So thanks for sharing and all the feedback, people! Love the internet (sometimes)!
Hej Arnold, as someone already wrote earlier: you need to open your system preferences and allow (Security & Privacy/General) the app to be opened. Worked for me. Also all my mm maps could be imported. UI is a bit different but at least I can continue working!
Juan! You saved my day! Thank you so much!
Hi, after updating my MacBook Air M1 to MacOS Monterey I have serious problems using Freemind to the point it became useless as I can't read anything anymore. All fonts (which work fine in every other program) seem garbled and are illegible. Please see attached screenshot. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
