While creating the 3rd installment of my 'Secrets of the STeem Emulator" video on YouTube, I encountered a few difficulties with the Tool and Menu bars. Tool/Menu bars If we are in windowed mode, the normal display of the Tool bar and menu are fine. But... If you click on the Menu bar, Tools and then in the list "Tool Bar", it doesn't hide the Tool Bar. Same if it is clicked from the Window bar right-click menu. But if you are on the Windows bar right-click menu and click on 'Menu bar', it hides...

FYI, Just installed Steem_SSE_Beta_421R1.7z and as you indicated, the Window Position is now operating perfectly. Thanks for all your great work.

It appears that the later versions of Steem, don't read the .ini file settings for the Settings and Disk Manager. I'm not sure in which released it stopped working. Haven't seen the Restore windows positions setting yet. Here's a video to demonstrate. https://youtu.be/nzmc2dSfFHo

How does it 'choose'. I understand that Windows remembers the last position of program windows (i.e. browsers, etc.) but even if I move the Settings and Disk windows and close Steem, the next time I launch Steem those windows open behind the main window. I have to reposition them to the right of the main window each time I start it up. I wouldn't mind having to change them once, but it never opens them in the new location.

Just a note, I just loaded the new version and the disk drives and Settings modules aways load behind the main window. I'm using the exact same config files from the previous version. I always create an 'ActiveVersion' directory and install the new version there. I copy the config, screenshots, shortcuts and other necessary directories. That way I never have to redo everything. Just saw your response. Took only a minute or two to copy over my .ini files and BAM all the accessories worked AND no A: drive prompt! You are the man!!!!!!
