    Yes, In idle mode the cpuload pin works as a pwm while the cpu switches between run and sleep states. In busy mode the cpu never sleeps so the led is on all the time.

    The pin is 1 after an interrupt, until PAUSE puts the cpu to sleep and the pin goes to 0. So if you give some commands like WORDS the led should light up. The system tick interrupt in FF is 1 millisecond, FF waits for input in KEY and executes PAUSE while waiting for input. So the LED blinks shortly every millisecond. You can also use the LOAD word to check the cpu load. Try this. decimal idle 1000 ms load . hex idle 0 1000 dump cr decimal load .

    Give the command IDLE. FF will then sleep in PAUSE until the next interrupt. During the sleep the the led is shut off. Command BUSY will skip the sleep and run the CPU at 100 %. After start FF will run full speed in the BUSY state.
