Same issue here. I have a powerful PC with Win 10 Enterprise. I had to boot from 2 versions older, 2.2.7 on USB. 2.3 gave can't open proc.. error, 2.2.8 gave can't locate disk error. However, 2.2.7 has display problems, the screen looks like I have a virus-messed texts on the screen. I tried a lot of other disk wiper software. They were either not working or not really free! For 1TB hard drive, 2.27 estimates 9 hours to wipe, let's hope it will succeed!..
