I hate Windows 11! I haven't liked any version of Windows since XP, but I really hate 11. Microsoft had a good thing going in XP (in my opinion), then they "improved" it to the point it became, and is now, completely useless. I have never owned a Mac, but if I was younger, I would consider it or Linux just to get away from Windows. Unfortunately, I am too old to start trying to learn a completely new operating system. I may try hooking speakers to the Win 11 machine and unpair the Bluetooth devices...
I have another pc that I just bought for my wife. It runs Windows 10 Pro. I bought that intentionally with APO in mind. I did not want another Windows 11 machine. Anyway, to see if I am doing something wrong, I unpaired the headphones I was using with the Win 11 machine and paired them with the new Win 10 machine. Did the YouTube thing and got audio. Downloaded and installed APO. Did the Configurator Editor and changed several frequencies. I could hear the changes as I made them. APO works perfectly....
device to be installed with APO, not "unstalled with APO. Fat fingers!
OK guys, I must be doing something wrong. I am using wireless bluetooth headphones for audio. I go to youtube and click on any video just to get some audio. I do get audio through my headphones, but the frequency response does not work with my old ears. Thus the need for an equalizer. I uninstalled the old version of APO from a year or so ago, that I never could make work. I went to Programs on the C-Drive and deleted the EqualizerAPO folder to get rid of anything left. Then I downloaded the latest...
What is Configurator and LFX/GFX? Sorry, I said I am no geek. LOL
Has Equalizer APO fixed their problem with working with Windows 11? I had it installed on a desktop computer, Windows 10, and it worked great. The computer automatically upgraded to Windows 11 and suddenly APO no longer worked. Some forum said to change some setting, but I never could find that setting on my computer. Did APO fix their download to automatically work when downloading on Windows 11? I am NOT a geek!
