I've noticed a similar problem with Sky UK OpenTV collection too - many thousands (7,000 - 19,000) of 'No Synopsis Available' in a typical collection of around 90,000 records. I've tried increasing the buffer size and the collection timeouts, these sometimes reduce the numbers a little but don't remedy the issue completely.
