Specifically, I'm referring to the Windows installer, although this might be applicable, to some extent, to other installers. Although the download from SourceForge is over https (which is good), the Freemind installer itself is not a signed executable. In this day and age, one has to be cautious of what one installs, and it would be reassuring if the installer was a signed executable. This would instil more trust.
