Could this be the issue I am seeing? From the W64-4.6. 2 rigctld.html doc file, bug section: "The daemon is not detaching and backgrounding itself. No method to exit the daemon so the kill(1) command must be used to terminate it. Multiple clients using the daemon may experience contention with the connected radio."

After running rigctl.exe from a program like JTDX, after closing the JTDX other programs that don't use hamlib report errors opening the com port and also my report "the port doesn't exist." The com ports are FTDI USB to serial ports. Rebooting the Windows computer clears the problem. Two rigs are affect (so far) FT-847 and a FT-1000MP. Anyone seen anything like this? Regards, Bob N4RFC

Looked over the docs and the Forum and don't see anything on how to configure the Linpac for using a serial port for a PK-232 TNC. How do I do that ? I was able to complile and install and the program runs but doesn't listen cause nothing is configured. Regards, Bob - N4RFC
