The same problem happened to me. The renaming of the config file wasn't helping though. For me the following helped: - setting the <preferuserconfiguration>true</preferuserconfiguration> in KeePass.config.xml to false - then logging in - log out - set it back to true Potentially this problem is relating to my keeanywhere plugin
