I think the the settings for File Manager should be completed with a symbol for "empty trash" folder, If it´s easy to make? Generally, I'm very fond of Webmin, and I've been using it for ten years, now.
Jason Holloway—thank you! Your comments helped me from going insane: just before I read your comment above, I found .Trash, too, under root. I'll collect courage and then delete what's in the .Trash-folder. Tomorrow.
Well, thanks anyways, I am just trying to see whether it is a system resource, myself. I'll find out any day, :-), but right now it's enough to now that deleted files in File Manager really are deleted (I got 15% left of free storage, which is enough).
Thank you, very much, Enrique! I didn't notice the cog wheel symbol earlier in File Manager (good to know!), and I've now changed the setting for "Delete files safely by moving to the trash" to "No". But this didn't remove the the trash, unfortunately. I guess I have to do this manually, this first time? But how? Do you know?
It didn't help, sorry to say, Enrique. On the other hand, how to I empty the Trash? I can't find that either...
I have the same problem, but I can't find the file where to change "Delete files safely by moving to the trash to No" I'm running a VPS with Ubuntu 20. Greatful for help–my memory is just growing, and I can't stop it... Best regards, Jacob
