Same issue. 1. Flipped the Dell E5470 laptop from UEFI mode to Legacy Mode 2. Booted to USB clonezilla-live-3.1.0-22-amd64.iso to create & validate the backup image 3. Went to do a restore on a different laptop - ran into the CRC error. 4. Ran chkdsk /r on the original NVME drive. 5. Used clonezilla clonezilla-live-3.1.0-22-amd64.iso to create & validate a brand new image v2 6. Went to do a restore on a different laptop - ran into the same CRC error. Not sure why Clonezilla wouldn't uncover the issue...
