With Java version 9 the Windows registry keys that hold version information about installed Java versions changed. Furthermore, the JDK does not longer contain a subdirectory "jre" that contains the JRE. Due to these changes Janel had to be enhanced. I did some enhancements and fixes to the current Janel 4.2.0.... they are available at my GitHub page and I hope that you'll integrate them into the official version of Janel. Tim, In 2014 I've added some fixes and enhancements to Janel 4.0.4 and we still use this self built version. I'm pretty sure that I've sent you my changes as I alwas did in the past.... And yes, I'm looking for that changes now - why not?!? There was no reason for us to upgrade to newer versions of Janel because they contained no benefit for us.... And if I send you bug fixes of course I assume that you'll integrate them.... I don't understand your confusion.... But maybe I forgot to send my changes...

I've found the bug. I've fixed this bug a long time ago and I'm pretty sure that I've sent you the patch (May 2014). You've not integrated the fix - as well as the property "janel.jvm.bitness.mismatch" I've implemented.... Oh yes, and the fix that Janel exits with better error message if the bitnes of the JVM does not match the bitness of the executable... Was something wrong with these fixed / enhancements?!?
