I have a suggestion: Stop deflecting and fix the problem. I get why you're upset. The font changer made things hard to read because the window can't get bigger. Here are some ideas to fix it: Make the maximize button work so the window can get bigger. Make the text size adjust to fit in the window. Let the window be resized more easily. I just changed the fonts - now I can't read anything because the window can't be enlarged. Sent from sourceforge.net because you indicated interest in https://sourceforge.net/p/equalizerapo/discussion/general/...
So Peace is one of several GUI's that can control EqualizerAPO? If I hadn't launched Peace before would that explain why the config.txt file was empty? What is JUCE? DPI awareness: Does anything not support this? It seems to affect everything. Well, I can think of one stock trading platform that it doesn't affect but that's it. What is CE? I want to use the bare minimum to start. Should I install just EqualizerAPO? I just want to be able to change the graphic equalizer frequencies and also play with...
I think OP don't understand the working mechanism of EqualizerAPO. It is quite simple. Simple? Its anything but simple. Simple would be something that worked like it looks like it would. Like it used to work with no fiddling from me before. Now its decided to go on vacation. EqualizerAPO is a dll type application with no GUI. If it has no GUI how come I saw the equalizer window when I first launched it? If a program needs the user to do stuff why not tell us? This thing looks like a perfectly functioning...
How would I even know what app it is? If I click the Peace icon Equalizer APO launches. How sensible is that? There's no info in the program for what each does. The last time I looked there seemed to be 3 parts to this program. There is no website for anything. THAT'S why its bizarre. Like a store without a sign on a busy thoroughfare that ignores the traffic going by every day. So if the font max is 11 why do you let us select higher fonts rendering the entire program useless? Because as soon as...
I'm not making much sense? I'd say almost everything about this program doesn't make much sense. First of all there seems to be multiple parts to it. We have Equalizer APO and Peace and something else I've forgotten. Huh? They both seem to launch some equalizer window. I mention DPI settings and you don't seem to understand what I'm saying. Not sure what we can do from there. I see you're not the designer who obviously has "exited left" and left you with this very unfinished work which is very unfair....
Wow...the more I use this the more bizarre it gets. Are you not aware of DPI settings for enlarging fonts? Because this can't be maximized everything spills over and is unreadable. I clicked Reset but of course that doesn't really Reset the appearance. You really haven't thought this program out very well at all. Get some help. Obviously you're not interested in logic but have good ideas for the workings of the program which is the main thing. It works one day then doesn't work the next. Great. So...
You want something logical, that works. Ludicrous and outrageous requests! I'm like you and am used to old school functionality and layout. I find this program bizarre yet I can see he's got some great ideas. It just needs someone with more logic to lay things out a little better. Hopefully he will get help in this area. It would be shame to see something like this fizzle when its so much better than any other I've used (not that I'm very experienced in audio equalization programs. I've found more...
Why would any designer offer font adjustment knowing that some would spill over and make it unreadable? What in the world were you thinking? There are so many great ideas in the program but you are not stepping back and looking at the bigger picture of pure functionality. This program needs serious help. But then it could be absolutely outstanding. For now: Make that maximize button actually work so we can use our full monitor window. This reminds me of retarded OS X programs what would do this....
