I had to add "PATHS /usr/include/freetype2/" to the find_path() for LIBFREETYPE_FT2BUILD_H, but otherwise the CMake worked perfectly on Debian. I'm glad that you find the patch helpful. It was a small price to pay to get an easy peek into the internals of the PDF that I am trying to parse and render in my own unique format using libpodofo and Qt5. I'm ok just submitting patches for now but I do appreciate the offer.
