I'm an avid user of MP3Diags :) I don't know if it's relevant to the issue at hand, but the documentation of the Musicbrainz XML service (https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Development/XML_Web_Service/Version_2) mentions the necessity to provide a correct user agent string ; see here => https://musicbrainz.org/doc/XML_Web_Service/Rate_Limiting#Provide_meaningful_User-Agent_strings Maybe it's totally unrelated though.
