Roland, I could not believe it, but your hint "use a fresh LibreOffice profil" did the trick. What striked me was that I had the same issue in Linux Manjaro and Linux Mint at the same time. However, problem fixed!

Now it's my turn: Same problem with Linux Manjaro, LibreOffice 6.1.4.2 or LibreOffice 6.0.7.3 with TexMaths 0.46.1 or TexMaths0.46.2 Linux Mint 18.3, LibreOffice 6.1.4.2 with TexMaths 0.43 NOT an issue in 3. Windows 10, LibreOffice 6.1.3.2 with TexMaths 0.46.1 The issue is new to me, have been using TexMaths for years. I have tried reinstalling Libreoffice and Texmaths to no avail. Any help appreciated!
