That was it. Needs to be set on each device. Thanks!
I use the kdbx:[path to kdbx file] syntax in the URL field to open other Keepass files from a db. This works great on my desktop, but does not find the association to the keepass app on my laptop. I'm constantly prompted to choose an app from the MS App Store. I've checked the Windows 10 settings and the Keepass app is associated to the kdbx file extension. Thanks in advance for any help. MB
case doesn't matter {Firefox} returned the FF path and exe filename for me. Since Keepass didn't convert {Firefox} to the exe path and filename when it Auto-Typed it we can assume the registry entries are still missing. There are 2 installers at https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/130.0.1/win64/en-US/ Did you use the MSI or the EXE? I used the EXE and didn't uninstall before running it. The installer did an "Upgrade" and it fixed the issue.
I never use the CTRL+U hot key, but it works fine for me either as an Integration selection or as a record specific URL Override. As suggested above - put the {FIREFOX} token/placeholder in a password field and auto-Type it to Notepad to see what is being sent to the commandline. After reinstalling it may need a system restart... grasping at straws here
A bug report already exists for this issue https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1919569 Thanks everyone for your help resolving this!!
Here is the reg file after reinstalling with the full FF.exe installer from this URL https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/130.0.1/win64/en-US/ A bunch of stuff is missing from the first reg file. Looks like Mozilla has an issue with their updater. I'll post a bug report.
Here you go. This is without re-installing FF, I'll try that next and do a compare of the reg files.
FYI I restarted the system and the Auto-Type to Notepad is still the same. {FIREFOX} 5RvyMC5yvt7qLFyE9eNv
