Thank you Paul. How could I miss these features. They are promising. Hovering the tooltip is no option when you have to select from one of five open tabs with equal labels. Then its even faster to select them serially and decide by content. The database setting "custom color" comes close to my initial question. Hi there, my colleagues and me love to use KeePass. A thousand thanks for your genious and efforts. When you open multiple files in KeePass they are opened in tabs by default. This is quiet handy. By default, the tabs are labeled with the filename of the database. Now we have multiple databases in separate folders but all with the same name (so that you recoginze them easily in a stanard folder structure).
