Thank you very much Paul! I was able to use that advice to narrow it down to WebAutoType. I then checked their tickets https://sourceforge.net/p/webautotype/tickets/, saw the top ticket was autotype not working with FF https://sourceforge.net/p/webautotype/tickets/30/ and found the solution is to go to about:config and set accessibility.force.disabled to 0.

For most sites Kee does it automatically. Some websites like SoundCloud won't automatically fill in the username & PW. I have to right click -> KeePassHttpConnector -> Fill user and pass -> click continue -> repeat a second time. Quite annoying. So for those sites I use my global autotype hotkey (ctrl+alt+z).

I'm having a very similar problem except I get the error "object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to do an auto type into Firefox. I confirmed that autotype works on the same site/page on Chrome. But I already have Keepass set to run as admin, and Firefox is not set to run as admin. I don't understand what xpac means by "Firefox runs at high integrity". I did look at the details tab of task manager, and checked all the optional columns, and I don't see anything about "integrity"....

Thanks, looks like it was an OS issue. There were some recent OS updates and it's working now without changing anything else.

Linux: Opensuse Tumbleweed latest version 32bit GNOME 3.26.1 mono-complete 5.2.0-2.1 xdotool 2.2012+git.20130201.65cb0b1-7.2 When it wasn't working, saw xsel mentioned on the site and installed version 1.2.0-18.9. Keepass 2.37 portable on USB It was working at one point a few months ago but don't remember why. Typically the username field just blinks once after pressing the global autotype hotkey, but other times it switches to the keepass window with a popup error that just says "user32.dll". Hotkey...
