Yeah, -10 to -17 is recommended if not using my hardware setup Clipping is relative to track your listening to FYI. If you dont want to deal with it, i would set PEACE preamp to -12

These files/setting provide a nice bright and accurate bass response with minimal distortion at .5 to .75 volume setting. Go higher and its distorted. I have the JDS labs firmware on current version and the DAC/AMP are at 65% (knob volume) with windows set to 40% volume.
