How will you use Global Auto-Type with window like this one attached bellow? It is common one when establishing RDP session or accessing file share. Pressing global auto-type hotkey does not offer any entries to choose because I do not name entries "Windows Security" and even this does not work (not sure if it is a real title or not). Anyway, it would be a huge amount of configuration work to make it function in each context and it is in fact such a basic operation done so many times that it is sad...

Ad 1. I did not know about "Show additional auto-type" option in settings, thank you for telling me, it seems useful and I agree it partially solves point 1. Having keyboard shortcut will make it just more faster since you will not need to switch from using keyboard to using mouse and back. Ad 2. You have many cases when window where you need to type passwords do not have any specific title so they cannot be configured for global auto-type.
