yes, of course :-) I followed the guide below. thank you very much for your help. Windows 7 (Vista, 8) -> Install the game. -> Install the Application Compatibility Toolkit by searching for it at www.microsoft.com or you can use ApplicationCompatibilityToolkitSetup.exe included in utils folder. -> Run the Compatibility Administrator (32-bit) -> Select "Fix" (top) and give it a name. -> Browse for usm98.exe / usm98-99.exe in the destination where you installed or unzipped USM- and browse to the USM.exe...
You are correct. I have USM98-99 :-) I tried different things with DxWnd but nothing worked. In the end I tried with Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit and that did the trick :-) Thank you very much for your efforts and help. /Jacob
Thanks I've tried this now but with the same result unfortunately. Still get a black screen after the intro - the mouse courser is active and visible somehow. Can you help?
Thank you for your comment. Now the game is installed and so I encountered a different problem. The game starts but after the intro screen it goes into black screen mode with the game music still running. I am running the game via DxWnd. Any advice?
Hi Having trouble installing the Ultimate Soccer Manager 98. Using DxWnd and I get this error when launching setup.exe Machine=149(unknown) Not a valid PE32 executable! Any help?
