Hello Anobium, nop, even #DEFINE SYSDEFAULTCONCATSTRING 8 does not help mplab c18 privides a char* pBuffer[255] '(for example) Shouldn't a too long string space allocation lead to a compiler error or warning?

Hello everybody, i observed a strange behavior. As soon as i convert a value into a string the touch screen stops working. Weird enough, the same source code works with a 18F6585 and ili9481 in16bit parallel mode. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance mafuta

Daija Hou, recently i had to reinstall SynWrite. Not a problem, but somehow the characters and all fonts appeared to be a little out of focus -almost foggy. (I swear i was sober :-) For those encountering similar issues there is a simple solution. right click Great Cow BASIC (your favourite IDE) ............Compatibility.......High DPI Settings........and chdeck the high DPI overscaling box. Everything should be razor sharp again.

That´s the reason why i only keep 2 or 3 displays in the glcd.h It shortens compiler time significantly!

Hello Anobium, sorry to bother you again.... mis en route, almost there I created two headers. AAlps and BAlps, brute force copy, paste and replace. The AAlps works fine, accept escaping the sub. BAlps behaves strange, starting at 1635 positive and causes hard resets although its also decoupled with 10k both lines and pulled up. Perhaps that one is buggy. According to the data sheet my external interrupts are RB.0, RB.1 and RB.3. Since i abused these ports elsewhere, is there another option to escape...
