I did some more digging and it looks like the reported issue is related to the new API Initial Login method that was implemented in the RouterOS versions post-6.43. It seems the old method that wasused before was still available in RouterOS post 6.43 versions in parallel to the newly implemented method but then the old method was deprecated in RouterOS versions post 6.45.1 and is no longer supported. I guess Userman app is using the old API Initial Login method and therefore it's no longer working...
