And one more to add :) Actualy jogging time-ingesting tasks in some other thread is a good practice but the trouble wasn't there (it turned into nevertheless hanging but in another thread :D ). The hassle turned into a proxy like this. JVM uses browser settings and tries to clear up host names via proxy.
