Just how secure is using -pw-enc? If I start KP in this way, the launch parameters (including the encrypted password) are visible in Task Manager under Services → KP → Properties → Command line. Would it therefore be risky, from a security perspective, to start KP in this way?

Thank you very much, that worked. However, you then have to omit the -guikeyprompt-parameter and use your encrypted password instead. In the string, -keyfile then works. But is there no way to ensure that the path to the key file is filled in automatically in the GUI after running the command? Is -pw-enc the only option? Best regards

I’d like to make a suggestion: KPScript should support a -preselect parameter that works in the same way as the KeePass.exe parameter. This would mean that, when using -guikeyprompt, a specific key file could already be preselected in the master key dialogue and wouldn’t need to be selected first. I use KPScript to synchronise two databases at the command line. I’d be delighted if this could be implemented.
