Thank you for your help, Paul. I was unable to give this a try between my friend being out of town, my work schedule, and a blizzard. However, my friend contacted me yesterday and after a week of not being able to open Keepass, miraculously it began working! Thanks for letting me know about the KeeWeb site, however. I did not know about that, but want to look into it for just such emergencies. Thanks again!

I helped a friend begin using Keepass several years ago and never had a problem. All of a sudden, this week she cannot open Keepass. When she clicks on the Keepass icon, a blue arrow spins, but it will not open. We have used the shortcut icon as well as navigating to where Keepass is stored with no luck. Background: Her computer runs Windows 10. Her Keepass is the 2.41 portable version, which she has stored in Dropbox. I have tried reinstalling Keepass both in Dropbox and in her local hard drive,...
