Those are unexpected Easter eggs! My email address is luc.galle3@telenet.be. Will you send me a contact address? Thanks!
Thank you Steve! But unfortunately, Cubase Lite does not have the ability to open .SNG files. (It does function correctly when importing and saving .MID files, but that was not the intention)
What you suggested in your last comment does indeed work. Thank you very much for this! I tried booting different MCA versions of CUBASE with some TOS versions. The .SNG files were indeed showing up on the hard disk. They could be selected to load into Cubase. And there it stopped every time. I suspect this has nothing to do with Steem, but rather with those MCA versions of Cubase....Maybe someone knows how to solve that last issue?
Hi Steve, I tried your suggestion with different MCA files (for example, 'Cubase - Desktop Midi...[cr MCA][a2].st'). and placed them on the GEMDOS C drive. Then I started Steem. They present themselves as a file within the Steem environment. After double-clicking it, the message 'You can only print or display...' follows. Regards Luc
Thanks for the quick response. Putting both the program and the .sng files into the GEMDOS drive works as far as I can tell. But the program requires a 'dongle' unlike the MCA images I was able to place in the A-drive. So, at this point I remain stuck....
Hi, I have old files of Steinberg PRO24 in the .sng format on my Windows PC. I want to convert those to the .mid format. This is possible with a cracked version of CUBASE 2.0 running within the Steem environment. But how do I make those old files visible to Steem and Cubase? (Should those also get a conversion to .st?) Thanks for all the help!
