I had the same problem and it turns out that the error report is misleading. After hours I determined that it did not like something about the file. I use Final Cut Pro X and found that if I saved a Master file 1920x1080 which was 2.9 GB it worked with no problem while the 700MB file 854x480 I created as a mp4 gave the error. I thought since a DVD is 480 that it ought to work fine. It is interesting I was sure that previously I was able to do it that way. Lesson: ignor error code and change the file...
