OK thks, I will try that although I'm not familiar with the expert mode ;-) I assume I need to use GParted to create the partitions on the destination disk.
I attach the gparted.jpeg of the source disk again as I don't see it in the previous post.

Hello Steven, I was looking for an alternative for my backup/restore application, Macrium Reflect, now that Macrium announced that they retire their Free Edition as of 2024. I read very good comments on CloneZilla and started some tests. I did succeed to make a backup on my Synology NAS using SAMBA.
