i see. but i doubt it was worth it. speed and size are not improved enough (and never will be. using conventional methods) to stop rewrite every critical place with asm (i mean z80 port). and now everyone has to catch bugs, as they think, when in fact this is a new behavior. and then rewrite their kind of build-scripts to pass --sdcccall option.
you broke everything that was already working (thousand of build scripts). do I understand correctly that this is only because it works faster?
i tried it with no specify any (like i wrote command above), but found it with c89.
