Hi, there is not this issue using plasma. There is the "backspace, enter, arrow" issue using mate (with all user account). I tried to purge all mate and ubuntu-mate and to re install, not solving the issue. I retired top when typing enter or backspace : It seems it works but with a very very long time PID UTIL. I tried to use plasma instead of mate, and there is no this issue only using mate.

the delta file was quite small, I removed it, not solving the issue. I also tried to rename the file but it does not solve the issue.
