Interesting workaround, but this is a shared database so i'd better don't patch it. Some people here use Firefox and I don't want to change the workflow. I'd like that it just worked as intended. Btw I made my own workaround with AutoHotkey. It intercepts Ctrl+Alt+A keypress, then retrieve Chrome's active URL, then modifies window title for something in the form of ??:URL:http://example.org/, so AutoType will match against window title literally instead of URL.

I have a problem with Accessibility on Chrome on Windows. It extremely slows down certain pages when enabled. I'm not sure where Chrome will fix it, so it would be nice if there was another way of interacting with it. Btw.
