  • Thank you so much for WebAutoType. I recently started using KeePass, and this is definitely one of the most useful plugins I have found. It works great with Firefox, Brave, Chrome, Edge, and Opera. I love the fact that it does not require any additional extensions to be installed in the browsers, so it would be perfect for portable use although I have not tried that yet.
  • An essential plugin. Allows autotype to do what always expected it would do for web sites.
  • the "autofill by url" function won't work on my computer (win10 , keepass2.4.1) , i'm so sad about it , need further help , pls~
  • After demise of KeeFox this plugin pretty much saved my workflow.
  • Very useful add-in indeed. More and more 'security conscious' websites such as banks, credit cards, etc are requiring multiple stages of login. These often involve two or more web pages / browser windows, with different types of data on each page e.g. a username and password on page 1, followed by a random selection of characters from a keyword on page 2. This excellent add-in allows you to store different data, and configure different KeePass behaviours, dependent on the browser window that is displayed at the time. For example, default autotype behaviour can be set up on page 1 and the username and password automatically typed in to these fields, but when the next window opens, using autotype can now be set to use the PICKCHARS function to produce the selected characters from the keyword. This provides a very neat solution. Use the same command on each window (i.e. autotype) and have it perform a different task relevant to the page URL or window title. I've used it with many different browser and not found any issues. The only possible downside I've spotted is that it seems the autotype response is slower than before. I've not measured it, because it's still a substantial time and error saver. Excellent work.
