The BBCWS is testing using DRM to deliver lessons to remote schools. It uses Journaline to deliver the textbook pages. I would like to save the data but the dropdown menu items (file options) are greyed out in the multimedia (MOT) module. Is there a way to enable them? The Journaline data is frequently updated to add answers to quiz questions. DReaM 2.2.1 on Win10 captures the data but only displays it occasionally and then for about 1-2 seconds.
I installed the older version of DReaM but it didn't work because I used a remote KiwiSDR receiver in IQ output mode and I don't think the 1.17 version of DReaM supports the '-c 5' argument that I use when launching dream.exe V2.1.1 to accept an IQ input that has six IQ channel parameters like IQ pos zero. I tuned into 7500 kHz transmission using a KiwiSDR in Japan.
I am using DReaM 2.1.1 on Windows 7. KTWR is currently transmitting an MOT slideshow (usually 10 slides) in their broadcasts but the software doesn't display the captured images. The receiving status is Green on the Slideshow Viewer from a strong signal. Yesterday I successfully received a multimedia service from TDF so the problem seems unique to the MOT function. Kevin
I extracted the new DReaM onto a Windows 10 desktop into a new directory and got this error 'This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initiated'. The older version of DreaM works on that machine. I would be happy to have DReaM 2.2 working on Windows 10, but you have to assume that many devices won't have the necessary plugins and libraries installed on them.
I haven't had any success with the Windows-full version. With a clean install I had errors for mssing dlls: wpcap.dll, packet.dll and api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-1. I put copies of these into the same directory as the extracted files. The next error was 'application was unable to start correctly 0xc000007b'.
Hi Stefano, I found many copies of qwindows.dll on my PC in OneDrive, Welle.io DAB software, etc. I copied the biggest dll to the DREAM folder but it is not found by the application. The DREAM application is looking for the Qt platform plugin in the folder specified by the PATH variable in Windows. I am not 100% sure that qwindows.dll is the missing plugin. Good Hunting, Kevin
Tried installing it on Win 7 64-bit PC. I hit three errors: 1)wpcap.dll missing - error cleared by copying dll from DREAM 2.1.1 folder 2)packet.dll missing - error cleared by copying dll from DREAM 2.1.1 folder On another win 7 PC I installed the dll from a download on https://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm. 3)no Qt platform plugin could be initialised - web indicates that qwindows.dll is missing but my attempts to understand and fix this error have failed. I am really pleased that development...
I wanted to enable the second service tab and modified the configuration file but it had no effect. Does the tx-er only support a single service?
