Yeah I have the same. 3 icons, WiFi, Network, and Ethernet.
I've been looking through files. So far I'm starting to thing these are configured in the .so files? I haven't found a direct reference to them anywhere else. Am I wrong? I was just hoping to force them to dark elements instead of white?
Everything I've monitored in the logging is the same in just about every distro out there. Some stuff shows as errors but actually aren't errors and just common elements occuring in the background.
Mine is working on Lenovo 27" A730 AIO IdeaCentre, Also working on Dell Inspiron 17-7778. Just dragging my fingers seems to function. Using two fingers I can zoom in and out. Do you have discreet graphics or just standard Intel graphics? I used the latest NVidia drivers on both machines.
I'm a bit curious why the default Ubuntu Screenshot tool isn't on the DDE system? If it is, it isn't configured very well.

The NX Domain thing is in the logs of any Ubuntu Distro and all kernels. Answered that question.
