Just tried 5.2.0, no joy. (Terrible) screeshot attached, but you can see that the OS recognized a disk "sda", but (as you might be able to see) there's no partitions to install to. I've installed Linux on bare metal and VMs for years, but having no luck. I also tried to create a primary and a swap partition manually. Any advice for building a 5.2.0 VM appreciated. Thanks!
Attempting to create a VM of Skywave Linux 5.1.0 - The installer can't see my virtual disk. Any ideas what to try. I've tried removing ACPI and specifying "noacpi" (which was critical to booting from USB on a desktop system). Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers!
Good to hear that 4.4 will be able to switch desktop environments. I'm all for learning new things and I'm always up for the challenge of using tech that's possibly more efficient (and there's always cred to gain if others don't understand it :) ) I use the Flashback version now simply because I don't have time to fiddle with things right now. I'm busy with other technologies, and mastering i3 isn't compelling to me right now, compared to all the great stuff contained in Skywave. Thanks for taking...
