I understand, but I cannot decrypt and extract the zip file because it does not let me enter a password in the first place. Is there any way to force the password prompt to open so I can enter the password (which I already know) and extract the entire zip?

So there is this frustrating encrypted zip archive which I have the password to, but which I cannot extract because it does not prompt for me to enter the password, in the regular Windows 10 file explorer zip extractor or with 7zip. But when I try to open an individual file, like a text file inside that zip with 7zip, only then does it prompt for a password, which I can enter and access, but it doesn't decrypt the entire archive.
