Hello. Is there a chance of getting a Standalone Version of DxWnd at some point as an optional function? I mean like putting the dxwnd.ini and dll into the Game Folder, and it would inject into it. I have some advantages of using it like that. It would be a cool option to have.

So, i got it from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/files/Latest%20build/v2_05_96_build.rar/download As you can see from the link, i got it from SourceForge and also tried the latest version. Also moved it into another folder. Restarted my PC. Made sure i´m not running both DxWnd at the same time. Still the same error. I don´t have any additional Antivirus running, but maybe Windows has something running in the background that gives me that error. Maybe it´s Windows Defender.

Hello. I recently updated DxWnd to it´s newest Version (2.05.95) and i get an error from Windows called "0xc0000142". My older DxWnd Version (2.05.70) still works perfectly fine, so what happened between these Versions that it suddenly won´t work anymore? I´m on Windows 11 currently but also tried it on Windows 10 before. Also i´ve updated all the necessary Updates and Programs on my Windows. Sorry if a post like this already exists.

Well, seems like your configuration does the same. Still Fullscreen when first launching the Game, Windowed Mode when second time launching the Game. Such a weird case.

You mean you currently trying to install that Game? If i can help you, i would provide my Version of it, it not only has the "Modern Patch" and the "Unofficial Expansion Pack" in it, it would also help since you would have the same Version as i do.

The thing is DxWnd is already started when i boot up Windows. I´ll let it running in the Tray and once i start up a Game, a selfmade Script opens a DxWnd Profile for the Game with the DxWnd Batch Commands. I just guess that because of this it shouldn´t have problems loading anything. It works for other Games too, only "Need for Speed: High Stakes" is making this strange behaviour. I even tried to load the profile twice before starting the Game, and even made a longer Pause between DxWnd loading the...
