Thanks! Will be present in the final version v6.3.3.
I've tested the auto durations. Seems to be working correctly. Thanks.
Yes. Bad idea. Empty line should be left as they are. The used can obviously want them to be present on purpose. He can choose to save them or not anyway.

I wouldn't mind if Divide Lines for the translation was a standalone action with a similar shortcut. I did some thorough testing and I think I found a glitch. I think the "Use automatic duration" is confused. Solved in the attached version (#22)
Additional possibility that could be added WITH the one previously stated one, albeit it is a hard one - combined Divided Lines for both the main and the translated subtitle - it should produce a simplified modal window, and if the number of lines is different between the main subtitle and the translated subtitle, it should give out an error stating that the line count must be the same for both for the feature to work. In testversion #22: above is not implemented, but this is: When the subtitle below...

Most probably your codec/splitter is not detecting any audio audio stream. Due to an error in the SWS software a default list of audio streams was shown in stead of no list at all. This problem has been corrected in version 6.3.2. Of course, this will not solve your problem: the audio stream list does not exist if the codec detects no audio...

Could you please test if <br> works? That seems safer to me instead of the Mongolian Vowel Separator. Thanks.
I tested it and it seems to be working. My set up now is CTRL+S to save both, CTRL+SHIFT+S to save the translation and CTRL+ALT+S to save the original subtitle. Thank you, this is a much appreciated quality of life thing. This comment was triggering spambot protection, so I had to obfuscate it.
An option for CTRL+S to save translations as well as original
Seekbar and buttons are erased from GUI when zooming in fullscreen (permanently)
It doesn't really zoom in either. It only sets the size to the percentage. So those Zoom context options should probably read "Set size to 25%", etc. I was wondering why the zoom function didn't go above 100%. Well, it's because it actually isn't a zoom function. :) True.
Stuttering GUI after mouse hovering over the seekbar (NO PLAYBACK + PREVIEW OFF)
Disable the "- Untranslated subtitle -" string when in translator mode
the translation is blocking orig. subtitle previewing during video preview
Thanks. Investigating.

Could you please test if works? That seems safer to me. Thanks. We have that cow or whatever she is supposed to be. (it's hers - that divider is the clue. Two male servants, one female. I've realized this while making the subtitles.☻)

In fact, both original and translated subtitles should carry* the same timestamps*, there is only one starttime and one endtime for both an original and a translated subtitle, the spoken sectence begin and end does not change with which written text is connected to it. So, if both original and translated subtitles separately do not contain overlaps then also the combination should not have them. A translated subtitle can not start sometime later (or earlier) than the original one!

Thanks. The same problem occurs also when translation is not involved. When 2 subtitles overlap the first one will always wins and it will be shown during its full period, while the 2nd one is only shown after the 2st one is done. In your example it seems of course worse, because the 1st subtitle is blank, and the 2nd has to wait for it to be done. What I can do is make sure that blank subtitles are not displayed and thus can not longer delay the display of the 2nd one. But as soon as the 1st one...

Have a look at this... :-)
Well, that is a failure of design. It counts on each orig subtitle having a translation, and doesn't allow for situations where there is no orig subtitle, OR no translation, as they are not needed for the given language. The pairing must be done only if both the show and hide times are exactly the same. Otherwise, it has to produce a new item in the subtitle list. There is no other way I can see that wouldn't have scenarios where it would just break and fall apart. Yes. Looking into it...

Is the English translation perhaps one where you manually deleted the "-Untranslated subtitle-" lines? If so, the number of subtitles in the orig file and the trans file will differ and sync problems will occur. The sync does not occur by using the time stamps of the trans subtitles, but purely using its place in the file...
In translated files there were previously no empty subtitles because of the text "-untranslated Subtitle-" was inserted in th empty ones. That statement is incorrect. I do not wish for empty subtitles to be saved. What the previous version did correctly was that it connected the subtitles to their correct times, whereas the new test version does not and so subtitles are timed in the seventh minute of the video suddenly are set to fire in the first minute, because there were empty spots in the list and it moved upwards in order to fill all the translation "slots". This is (probably) due to the change of leaving out the '-Untranslated subtitle' text. If the option 'Save empty lines' is off then now the untranslated subtitles are not saved any more and all translations crop up at the beginning... I wll correct this asap.

The "Hue" value insists on remaining at "160", instead of the correct "0". I do not know what the "hue" value actually means in the color selection window. Also when selecting White the Hue is 160... What are the "Red", "Green" and "Blue" values when you choose black? Are they all 3 zero? So, don't bother about the hue. Just set Red, Blue en Red to zero. Also if you have however problems using the color that you chose (e.g. black in your case), make sure the setting "try transparant background" is...
Also, I just checked the original version, It is only caused if the mouse LEAVES the seekbar. And it doesn't matter which way, so it is not based on entry onto other elements (unless all elements around have the same on mouse entry event trigger). Does this problem also occurs in the last test version I sent you or only in the original version? Is there an event for the mouse leaving the seekbar that I do not know about? :> Of course there are things..., see attachment. In the original 6.3.2 version...

Assuming my assumption is correct (hehe), the only problematic part could (based only on what I can see right now) the call to SetTimeCounter. Indeed, but SetTimeCounter is a very small routine, see attachment, and it is only called when the mouse is moved and the left shift button is pressed, so I did not suspect that part.
I'm going to respond to myself. I know nothing of Delphi, but according to this: https://docwiki.embarcadero.com/Libraries/Athens/en/Vcl.Controls.TControl.MouseMove the event is fired each time the coordinates change (at least. And if the mouse is above them, of course). Yes. But I tought the problems occur when the mouse is below the seelbar (after hovering over it).
Just tested it - it also happens after the video has completely stopped playback by being played until the end. Aha. Thanks. Hi, could you please do a test with attached version? All mouse events for the seekbar are completely disabled (except for the cursor change when the mouse is in the seekbar). Thanks in advance. Could you please copy-paste all pertaining code to that event? I might be able to divine the reason out of it. I do not think it will make you any wiser, see attachment.

The video has been paused for over half an hour, further proving that this has NOTHING to do with the hardware not being good enough for playback, as there hasn't been a playback event for half an hour. I.e. your statements in the closed issue were false. At first, it was happening sporadically when moving the mouse around the seekbar. I did manage to find why it wasn't triggering sometimes, and I can now trigger it 100% of time! To trigger it 100%, I have to move my mouse cursor from the player...
Sorry for that, you will need of course the adapted Shortcut texts...
Hi, Following has been added in every language file From v6.3.2 onwards:: The translated name of the language, e.g. for Greek: [General] Language=ελληνικά Do not forget this translation. In case it is not present yet, the hard code name in the program will be taken. For the currently existing languages: this item has already been added. I would like to use the correct choices in the Language selection menu instead of the English ones. Below is a proposal (left is English, right is actual language)....
Will be deleted in final version of v6.3.3.

Attached version should be better.
moving the mouse across the seekbar while the preview feature is turned OFF causes the entire GUI (including my mouse cursor movement) to hiccup and stutter, becoming unresponsive. Thanks vor the problem report (again). Are yo sure that moving the mouse across the seekbar in conditions as you describe above causes the problem? With "preview feature" I assume you do mean the "Seekbar Hovering" setting? Thanks in advance.
Thanks very much!
