Interesting. The game is very dark by default. I tried activate the "enable light gamma ramp" then from Tools/gamma controls increase brightness but has no effect on the game. How can I increase brightness then?

ah, ok. Just to make things absolutely clear when you open the documents menu (notebook at the upper left) then the heartbeat is not displayed nor heard. Yet the issue with the "timer" is still there. Just saying so don't entirely focus on the heartbeat monitor.

That's too bad. but it's so odd! Like an internal timer going on which measures how much time you spend in there and once it accumulates certain time BAM, you are out. Almost like it's intentional somehow. I mean from the game, not from you. Anyway, thank you for your nice program! It already made the game much more enjoyable.

I sent you the link. Yes, I remember that time when internet was slow, expensive and even limited. Now I can use cheap 1000 / 200 Mbit/s unlimited internet. or I could if I would buy a gigabit router. so now I'm limited at 100 / 100 Mbit/s. More then enough for me. This upload took 1:35 sec.

Thanks. Please report back if you manage to reproduce the issue. Also if you need the game just tell me and I upload it quickly. Small, only 1.2 gb. I'm sure GOG woudn't mind in this case.
