Thanks for the fast response! :-)
How is the process to a feature request? Is this the right place here? Just wondering because no developer responded so far...
Is there a way to use this for Windows (Server) as well? Would love to use this tool as wel.
I don't know about the difficulty as well. And regarding Bandwidth I do not agree. Because for the Server side it is an upload. Running a second instance and getting the same mix doesn't make any sense for anybody. So it's useless - then why send it? That was my point here. But maybe it makes sense for someone so I would let the user decide and would give him/her a switch to enable this mode. To take the "listener mode" in account I can imagine somthing like this would make sense: Mode: Normal (send...
Feature request: Client switch to "Send Audio only" Due to the limitation in Jamulus to send just 2 channels, I'm using two instances of the Client. 2 channels for my instrument (keybaords) with mic mixed in. In addition a Click-Track/Backing Track will be sent with the 2nd client. BUT: With the 2nd client I also recieve the mix from the server a second time (that doesn't make any sense). To reduce traffic (from the server and to the client) I would love to see a switch (start parameter or in the...
Check if the USB-audio Format supports 48 kHz. If yes, connect your TD 11 via USB to your PC/Notebook. Install the needed drivers. Now you can configure Jamulus to use the TD 11 Driver and you are ready to run. If no, you will need a USB Audio Device that has two free line in ports. Connect the Line outs from TD 11 to Line In of the USB Audio Device. Hope that helped a bit.
Thanks for this tip. Worked good for 4 out of 5 members (and of course best for me! ;-) ). Sounds like a good workaround.
Thanks for your help. The avg. ping time to my Fritz-Box (7590) is 1 ms. (Direct Ethernet connection) The 2nd hop is within the Telekom Provider net with 6 ms. And yes, within 15 ms I am in Frankfurt. Would be great to stay near the first hop (with 6 ms) - That's what I'm looking for. BTW: I did already tried a few providers and IONOS provided the best results for us ('till 2 weeks ago).
