At this point, I think it's safe to say that I've fixed my issues. I enabled "acquire admin caps" on the main tab of dxwnd. Running it as administrator seems to have have stopped the crashing (which makes sense). The saves was just adding a folder onto the directory that was missing. And with that I'm going to consider this case solved. Thank you to all of you guys that put all of this together and helped me get this figured out. I truly appreciate the effort you guys have put in and I can't wait...

Hello Gho, Is there any way that I could have another link for that bundle you mentioned in step one? I was going to go through all of the steps again to see if maybe my problem stems from something I did while going through the steps. Unfortunately though I wiped related files in order to start over. That link seems to say the file is expired though when I try to open it. I did, but I'm likely just going to wipe things clean and try the download over again just in case I messed something up along the way.

For me, I'll get random not responding messages. I don't need to force close. There was a couple of times where I clicked out of the window and it seemingly fixed itself temporarily, but it wasn't a full proof strategy. I'm not sure what prompts it though. I downloaded the updated dxwnd that you provided Chris for the "no ghosting" checkbox so I've got that covered. Other thing is, the game doesn't seem to want to keep save files for whatever reason. I thought with some of the adjustments I was making...
