The 3rd Nov run may have finished OK (as many others have), but no guide has been available since the Oct 26 run! It is always empty. WMC always wants to download guide, which I recall is the wrong thing to do. I have tried many times (re-running zap and collector, copied working xmltv.xml files from other system that works). Steve: as previously mentioned, I have two systems tracking and recording shows. Well, this time one is working fine and the other stopped. It comes up with an empty guide!. WMC reports guide listings are unavailable for the current system time and year settings. Those settings are correct. Have tried redoing settings, copying settings from one machine to the other, and reinstalling a cloned copy of the system that was saved 5 months ago and had worked up to this point. Have had total success with translating SD series-episode data to work with EPG Collector and Media Center and my tools. Now as new season starts I find my real problem (which had been hinted at when I first started this), SD not only fails to collect series-episode info for some shows, but even puts in BAD data!! Sorry for slow response, was out of state babysitting grandkids! Looked at start of log file, found it was going to another place for ini file? Do not understand: if I run collector manually it pulls the ini file from c:/barger/appdata/local/greekzone/epg collector folder if the program scheduler runs the same collector file it pulls from c:/programData/greekzone/epg collector folder Anyway copied int file from first folder and put copy in second one above. How does directory get assigned? WMC or your EPGCollector? so far I only found ini's in username/AppData/Local/Greekzone/EPG Collector folder inclosed is ini and ini.bak files from each computer Acer is one having problem Tvpc2 is working not sure this helps

But double click and scheduler runs same exe file. How can they be different? Yes just imiported xml file.

Ignore above, Collector was failing to complete. Got one system working just fine, but other system I get the following on trying to run. If I run by double click on EPGCollector.exe, works fine and generates log file that is enclosed. But if scheduler runs task I do not get any log file update and it fails. So I took video of output of run and privided pict of problem it seems to be calling out when it stops.
