detecting subtitles

Hi: I have some vob files that contain subtitles.When I drop them into DVDstyler, they do not show in the properties. According to ffmpeg, the subtitle stream starts 15 or more seconds late in the file. Is there an option for changing DVDstyler's default so it scans further into the file and detects the subtitles? (Currently using version 3.2.1.)
