Using Tools, I tried to insert a password reference into a new entry and selected an older entry's password. An error was displayed as shown in the attached screen grab. I checked Keepass's own password generator and saw that the invalid character being rejected, a curly brace '{', was allowed. Is there a plan to remedy this? (Aside from not using this character. 8) ) JohnC
Thank you for your reply. My auto-type entry for the browser tab of interest contains the single auto-type string "NextPVR"(without quotes) as the target window. No other listed entry contains that string. Is there a KeePass log file that can be switched on that will show why additional choices are listed in the selection dialog? PS - There is supposed to be an asterisk at the end of the auto-type string. If I enter this asterisk, all following text gets changed to italics. I do not know why.
Only recently, in response to the hot-key, I have noticed that KeePass is listing auto-type entries that are not relevant for the window from which it was invoked. The expected entry is listed but additional entries are not relevant. I have no auto-type options checked under Advanced->Auto-type. Is there an option I need to check to get just the single, relevant auto-type entry? Thank you.
When a group is selected from the left-side tree, its background changes color. This does not happen when one selects a user-defined button above the right-side entry list. Can this be added so that the entry group being shown is the only one highlighted, inlcuding user defined buttons?
Would like to propose having a Most Recently Used Entries list as part of the File menu. Tags are good but an MRU list would be better. Allow the user to change how many entries can be kept in the list.
I'm having a difficult time trying to find out if this information can be viewed in the latest release(2.36). UINode has been cited but back in 2014 and I cannot find this parameter in the two configuration files I can see in the install directory. Can someone help? I am running Windows 10 Pro.
