I'm using the latest version of 7zip and as you mentioned it doesnt appear to be implemented in 7zip, as I did not see an option for "encrypt file names". I think the bug is in the fact that I can not only view the file name in the archive, I can open and edit the file without being prompted for a password. I'm having the same problem with varying results, however, I'm only trying to password protect a single file. I right click > add to archive, set a password, confirm the password, then hit ok. Using zipcrypto After this, I can open the .zip folder without any need to enter a password, and i can also open the single file in this folder without any need for a password.
