    No errors are produced, it just keeps showing the transfer dialog and the calculator shows the program being run over and over again.

    Here's the output. It did run successfully as root, though the same problem persists. I tried DoorsCSE then Graph3D and both had the same error. I'm using the AUR package, so i'll have to take a look at those udev rules. The files attached are the same ones from ticalc.org

    I also tried the cable using my laptop's USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, both with the cable fully plugged in. That didn't help. Neither did clearing RAM.

    By the way, I happened to look at /etc/udev/rules.d/69-libticables.rules and got the same content as described in the "Groupless setup for udev >= 143 with udev-acl and ConsoleKit / systemd"
