Thanks for the answer. I may write a request on his project if he will not reply shortly then. Connected to previous, I got an error when trying to import a project (.opj) in SciDavis: basic_string::substr: __pos (which is 5) > this->size() (which is 2). Is it perhaps due to the fact that the origin sheet has 5 column while scidavis ones start with only 2?
I'm sorry for posting again in a so old ticket, but I was asking myself if there is any real plan to also include the .opju format (Origin standard since 2018) in the import/open menu
Some updates: I tried to debug the software myself (maybe it was just a problem of outdated runtime executables) starting from the last snapshot (128), and it worked a bit. After installing: 1) visual studio 2017 2) intel xe parallel studio 2019 3) the latest windows sdk for windows 10 and including the openMP when was called, I managed to get to the end of the compiling process (but with some warnings). The obtained executable work on my laptop (where I installed everything), but cannot find some...

Sorry for the delayed response. However, I tried what you ask (new installation with default settings) but without any improvement: when I tried to fit the built-in example file, the software crashed after creating the files pop.dat and test1refl.txtsettings.xml (note: I had to move the example file in a different folder because the software does not have write rights in its own folder). I'm attaching a list of all the visual c++ lihbraries installed in my system, hoping it can help you find the...
I was using the Italian setting (comma and dot switched). The installation was standard except for the destination folder (using an ssd so move it to the normal hdd). The installation was fine with all the computer I tried it (as I said, 2 modern 8gen i7 and an hold one; don't know the spec because it was an old PC in the office). Other colleague are also using it with somewhat modern PC (like 7 gen CPU) without so many problem, just some crash now and then or some bad fits
Thanks for your answer. Anyway, I try what youn suggested (switching language to U.S. english, including changing the decimal separator to the point), but without any result. I will wait for some more details in the next weeks. Sorry to bother you with this almost dead project, but I found it very nice and easy to use, expecially if one doesn't really know how is his sample layered for XRR. Thanks again, Jacopo
